Yesteryear Collection - Red Crown Gasoline

Released in 1986, livery 7 was 'Red Crown Motor Spirit'. The roof was completely redesigned and recast giving the model a higher roof line and a completely new look.
The oval windows on the side of the cab have been rotated by 90 degrees and new advertising boards were fixed to the sides.
It was released in the gold "Limited Edition" series box.

This was the last 'Made in England' issue as production was moved to Macau.

Livery: (Tampo)
Hoarding panels: 'RED CROWN GASOLINE' in white with company logo in red, white and blue in centre roundel.
Rear of tank: 'RED CROWN GASOLINE' in red with company logo in red, white and blue on white circle with blue ring edging.
Cab sides: 'STANDARD OIL COMPANY (CALIFORNIA)' in white.
Cab doors: White '18' in a white circle.

Variations/Rarities: The model was released with a red body, roof and tank with a black chassis.
It was issued with black seats and brass hose-holdalls.
Wheels are gold 12 spoke with either plain black or whitewall tyres and the tank filler caps are bright red.
It can be found with four different baseplate types: "Matchbox 1986 Limited Edition England"; "Lesney 1978 England"; "Matchbox 1985 England" or "Matchbox 1986 England".
